The World Is Flat

In every part of the world you will find people with different values, beliefs, ideas and other aspects of culture. The process of integrating all this aspects together is known as globalization. A man named Thomas Friedman wrote a book called The World Is Flat. In this book Thomas talked about how the world is an equal place. Thomas names several benefits of globalization, such as, the collapse of the Berlin Wall, outsourcing and supply chaining. (Wikipedia, 2014)

Along with everything in the world today along with globalization come problems. Those problems include increased likelihood of economic disruptions in one nation effecting all nations, greater risk of diseases being transported unintentionally between nations and threat that control of world media by a handful of corporations will limit cultural expression. (Globalization, 2014) Just to name a few..
